PVDF Aluminum Extrusion Curtain Wall Profile is an aluminum alloy profile treated with polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) coating, mainly used for curtain wall systems on building facades.
Features
High structural strength
PVDF aluminum extruded curtain wall profiles are made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy profiles with a yield strength of ≥160 MPa, a tensile strength of ≥195 MPa, a hardness of 60~70HB, and a profile thickness range of 2.0mm to 3.0mm, which meets the structural support and wind pressure resistance requirements of medium and high-rise building curtain walls.
High coating stability
The surface of the PVDF aluminum profile is treated with a fluorocarbon coating. Its chemical stability stems from the high bond energy of the C-F bond in the PVDF molecule (about 485 kJ/mol), which makes the coating less prone to degradation under high temperature, strong ultraviolet rays, acid rain and other environments. In accelerated corrosion tests such as the ASTM B117 salt spray test, the PVDF coating can stably withstand more than 4000 hours without obvious blistering, peeling or corrosion marks.
Low maintenance cost
After outdoor exposure testing, the ΔE color difference value of the PVDF coating is controlled below 5, and the surface gloss retention rate is above 50%. The coating surface is smooth, and rainwater can wash away some dust and pollution particles, reducing the frequency of manual maintenance.
